Sara^4 Van Wicklen (Garret^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 JEPPES) was b. 26 November 1729 and baptised 25 December 1729, W.H.
She died 13 Nov. 1803 and was bur. 15 November 1803. She married John MONFOORT of Wheatley, Oyster Bay, son of
Abram and Sara (DITMAS) MONFOORT and widower of Ida LUYSTER. John Monfoort was bap. 21 May 1725 Jamaica, L.I.
and died June 15 1792. Sara is called Van Wicklen at the baptisms of her children, and her father’s (Garret^3) will names John
Monfoort as his son-in-law.
John Monfoort was married first to Ida Luyster who d. 1766.
Children are: Ida^5 Monfoort was b. 12 July 1768 and was bap. 7 August 1768, W.H. She did not marry, and she died
November 1849; Helena^5 Monfoort, was b. 3 March 1771 and was bap. 14 April 1771 (witnessed by Helena (Amerman) Van
Wicklen, her maternal grandmother for whom she was named). She did not marry, and died 22 February 1805;
Garret^5 Monfoort, was b. 1772 and bap. 22 November 1772, W.H. (no witnesses). He died young.
Garret^5 Monfoort, was b. 27 September 1774, W.H. and married Elizabeth Luyster 31 May 1811. He died 12 September 1829;
Sarah^5 Monfoort. was b. 30 December 1778 and married Nicholas Maybe on 11 February 1810. She died 30 July 1854.
